Dynamically diapason is the interval between the smallest and highest sound intensity. It is measuring according to the formula 20 lg( S/So ) = X db (intensity in decibels), where S - the biggest, So - the smallest deviation from the zero lone, that is dedicated as the measure unit.

Pictures: the diagrams of dynamically diapason of the kanklės of Suvalkiečiai:

  1. - e1 (320 Hz) with a bone (about 16 db);

  2. - e1 (320 Hz) with the finger (about 12 db).
